Email Newsletters

Email only works when people actually open it. I manage eight newsletters across X3's internal brand and client accounts, each with a distinct voice, audience, and goal. Every send is designed in Canva and optimized through subject line testing, audience segmentation, and send-time analysis. Client newsletters have reached open rates up to 63% and CTRs of 8%, consistently 2-3x industry average.

X3 Marketing Newsletters - B2B

Your Next Customer Is Scrolling, Not Googling

X3's monthly newsletter for service-based business owners. This send made the case for social search — why discovery has shifted away from Google alone, and what that means for businesses that aren't showing up where their customers are actually looking. Designed in Canva, deployed in Constant Contact.

The Future of Search: GEO

The follow-up send to the social search newsletter. This email went to the same audience to tell the next chapter of the story. The idea was to introduce GEO and AEO to an audience of service business owners who had never encountered the concept, explaining what AI-driven search means for their visibility and what X3 is already doing about it on their behalf.

Multi-Brand Newsletter Management - B2C

Beyond X3's own newsletter, I manage seven additional client newsletters. Each one requires a distinct voice, content strategy, and visual identity. No two brands sound alike, which means every send starts with understanding who's reading and what they actually need from their inbox that week. The best-performing client newsletter has reached a 63% open rate and 8% CTR.

Home Contractor Client

HWG serves homeowners planning major renovations — an audience that's research-heavy, decision-fatigued, and not easily impressed by fluff. This send tackled a genuinely nuanced topic (open concept versus traditional kitchen layouts in 2026) and made it useful enough to actually inform a remodeling decision. The goal wasn't to sell immediately — it was to position HWG as the team that knows what they're talking about before the homeowner is ready to book.

Custom Doormaker

Door Dudes is a custom doormaker with a personality, so their newsletter had to match. This send introduced a new vendor partnership while keeping the focus on what the reader actually cares about: their home, their curb appeal, their decision. The editorial-style layout and bold typography were a deliberate choice to match the brand's confidence. Each newsletter for this client is visually striking and suited for their audience, which was the decision maker in luxury home owning couples.

Plumbing Client

Kerwin Plumbing serves homeowners and businesses across the Denver metro — a practical, local audience that needs useful information, not marketing speak. This send turned a seasonal topic (warm winters and what they actually mean for your pipes) into an educational piece that leads with relevance and ends with a clear call to action. Different industry, same discipline: know your audience, earn the click.
